Quality Control Clinical flow analysis protocols often require many internal checks and attention to small details during the process.  For instance, it is common to check that all the lymphocyte subsets add up to 100%, when performing T and B cell enumerations.  While this is extremely important, it is a tedious and error prone process, that is often skipped, especially when processing through many data files.  

Alerts


FCS Express allows you to quickly and easily automate as many quality control checks as you like with a feature we call Alerts. Using our powerful token technology, you can define any condition that will trigger the alert, such as making sure that there are enough live cells in your sample, as in the image below.




You can run the alerts at any time by pressing the Alerts button on our Batch Processing Toolbar, or you can configure the alerts to run automatically any time you run a batch process. When the alerts run, you are given a summary of the results.

or you will get a summary of the errors. The ones with the red X failed, and the ones with the check marks passed.




Automatic Warnings

Another powerful QC tool in FCS Express is the use of automatic text flags embedded throughout your analysis layout.  Use text warnings to alert techs to possible out of control situations or remind them to add on additional markers when predefined criteria is met.
