The configuration file ends in a .config extension and usually has your FCS Express serial number as part of the file name.

You can find the configuration file that FCS Express is using by going to Help->About from the Application button.

If you are using a network license, then the configuration file is stored in the directory where FCS Express.exe is located.
If you are using a standalone license:
- On Windows 2000 and XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\De Novo Software. There will be a subdirectory there with the specific name of the version of FCS Express you purchased. The config file is in the subdirectory.
- On Windows Vista and 7, go to C:\ProgramData\De Novo Software\. There will be a subdirectory there with the specific name of the version of FCS Express you purchased. The config file is in the subdirectory. Please note that ProgramData is often a hidden folder.
