FCS EXPRESS: CFlow Import

The Accuri C6 is a bench-top system that delivers performance and features similar to those of the market-leading flow cytometers, yet it is easy even for novice users to set up and operate. The CFlow™ software that controls the C6 is easy to use and allows even a novice to quickly set up an experiment and acquire data.

The standard version of FCS Express can load FCS files generated from the C6 software, just like you can load data files from any other instrument. However, the Accuri Importer allows you to import your entire experiment as well.

FCS Express is pleased to provide the Accuri importer, which allows you to apply the sophisticated analysis features of FCS Express to the data acquired using CFlow. FCS Express will import all of the experiment information from the CFlow file including: 

• All plots on the Collect and Analyze tab.
• The native, high resolution, 24 bit FCS data.
• All gates with the proper gating hierarchy.
• All compensation settings.
• All markers and quadrants.
• All plot formatting settings

Once your experiment is loaded into FCS Express, you can treat your plots just like a plot created in FCS Express. In Figure 1 below, you see an Experiment created with the CFlow software. Figure 2 shows how the CFlow Import Wizard lets you customize how the CFlow experiment is imported. Figure 3 shows the experiment successfully loaded into FCS Express.

Now that your CFlow Experiment is loaded into FCS Express, you can take advantage of all of FCS Express' powerful features, including adjusting the gates, and exporting to PowerPoint® and Excel®.
