FCS Express is available in two
versions: Professional
and Lite.
The
Professional versions is packed with our entire
suite of powerful analysis features, such as batch processing,
exporting to PowerPoint, channel calibration, parameter math, and much,
much more.
The Lite
version is for more casual users, who only
want to perform simple analysis, yet still take advantage of the state
of the art user interface FCS Express provides.

When
using
a standalone
license, FCS Express must
be
run from your
local hard drive, and only one person can be using the software at a
time.
When using network licenses,
FCS Express allows many users to share a single copy of FCS Express
that is only installed on a single computer. You can create shortcuts
to that installation from as many computers as you wish. The maximum
number of people that can simultaneously use FCS Express is determined
by the number of licenses you have purchased. When you purchase FCS
Express for use with network licenses, two network licenses are
automatically included. Thus, you can create shortcuts to the installed
network copy on as many computers as you like, but only two people will
be able to use the software at once. Additional licenses
can be purchased at any time, to allow more than two people to
simultaneously use the software.
Note: the software is not
actually executed on the server. The software is executed on the users
local machine. The computer that the program is installed on is simply
acting as a file server to the clients. Thus, FCS Express does not slow
down the network computer at all.
