An FCS file contains a section known as the header which contains information about the data, including the names of the parameters, the amplification method, acquisition date and time and many other information. FCS Express allows you to view and change any of the information contained in the header and to save the changed information in the FCS file. If you don't like the name the operator used when acquiring, simply change it! Plus, you can modify or add non standard keywords as well as printing out a list of all the keywords.
