Where is the configuration information for FCS Express stored?

If you are using a network license, then the configuration files are stored in the directory where the program is located.

If you are using a standalone license or a demo, then the directory where they are stored depends on which version of the program was initially installed on that computer.

If the first version installed on your computer was earlier than 3.00.0503, the configuration files are in the directory where the program is located.

If the first version installed on your computer was 3.00.0503 or later, then the configuration files are in a folder underneath the standard system Application Data folder for All Users.

In Windows XP and Windows 2000, this folder is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\De Novo Software\FCS Express V3.

In Windows Vista, this folder is C:\ProgramData\De Novo Software\FCS Express V3.
