Alerts
During a complicated flow analysis protocol, there are often many small
details you have to check for over and over again just to make sure
that your analysis is correct. For instance, you should always make
sure that all your lymphocyte subsets add up to 100%, to make sure that
you have gated all your subsets automatically. While this is extremely
important, it is a tedious and error prone process, that is often
skipped, especially when processing through many data files.
FCS Express allows you to quickly and easily automate as many quality control checks as you like with a feature we call Alerts. Using our powerful token technology,
you can define any condition that will trigger the alert, such as
making sure that there are enough live cells in your sample, as in the
image below.
You can run the alerts at any time by pressing the Alerts button on our
Batch Processing Toolbar, or you can configure the alerts to run
automatically any time you run a batch process. When the alerts run, you are given a summary of the results.
Either all the alerts passed, as show below
or you will get a summary of the errors.
